INTRO MUSIC How about trying this for a new dessert, this is a salted caramel fudge affogato look at that clotted cream, ice cream, coffee and the honeycomb Fudge from Buttermilk fudge and confectioner’s fantastic. I’m doing a video on a fudge affogato So it’s going to be fudge sauce it’s going to be ice cream and a few other bits and bobs all thrown together in a glass Ready to eat for Christmas, New Years Eve or whenever you fancy it! Okay, so what we’ve got here is the caramel sea salt fudge and I cannot wait to get this open come on open it open and as if by magic Come on look at that delicious buttery crumbly caramel sea salt fudge So we need to take 100 grams of this and chop it into small cubes So there we go 100 grams of chopped buttery fudge delicious. I only have one problem I need to warn you all about when I’m chopping this I find sometimes it tends to fall on my mouth I’ve got no idea how or why, but it does so be really really carefully chopping. This it may end up being eaten Pop the caramel sea salt fudge in a pan and add a tiny bit of salt. It’s just a little bit So then all we need to do is add a hundred millimetres or half a cup of Double cream or in America called heavy cream in case you’re wondering how much focuses and cups It’s about a cup and a quarter I think But you’re better off to open a packet and just put it all in So to make the caramel sauce that goes in the bottom the affogato we need to heat those two up gently because it’s cream and fudge This caramel sauce goes really really well on any kind of dessert in fact you can pour it straight over the clotted cream Recipe I’ve done as well They’ll be linked for that again again just keep an eye on it when you boil it because they’re on the city’s fudge sugar in there and the double cream or heavy cream So for the affagato put a good amount of the melted fudge with a cream in the bottom of a glass or serving bowl I’ve used a good quality vanilla ice cream in there because if it is quite easy to get hold of and it’s very popular And I love it Here, I’ve got a shot of expresso what we’re going to do is pour a little bit of that over there. So your saying to yourself. There’s an awful lot of space on top of there. What is he gonna do? I’m gonna stick some of my homemade clotted cream on top? That’s what I’m going to do I stick the clotted cream on top of there like that Some more coffee. It’s more expresso what an amazing dessert, I’m putting on some crushed honeycomb and chocolate from buttermilk That’s what you call a dessert
