Today we are going to make macaron ice cream sandwiches, these taste so good. I have already shown you how to make the macarons and the gelato so if you are watching on youtube I will put a linked to those videos in the
description below this one. You need to spread your gelato into a rectangular container lined with alfoil and freeze it until it is firm. For your macarons colour then whatever colour you like. Put a non-stick sheet of baking paper on an oven tray and
then you can either pipe normal circle macarons or you can cut rectangle shapes out of a thin piece of clear plastic spread the macro mixture over the top
and use the back of a long knife to smooth out the top. Then bang the tray on the bench like you normally do when you are making macarons. Turn the tray, repeat that on each side. Then carefully peel off your frame. Bake them in the oven until they are cooked and
then let them cool down completely. Take your gelato out of the freezer and peel off the alfoil. Use the macaron to measure the size you are going to need and cut your gelato into slices. Place a slice on a macaron and another one on top and you have a macaron ice cream sandwich.
