Assalamu alaikum, many many welcome to everyone. Let’s start off one more episode of my channel. Today, there is a sweet recipe, Seeing this video, you’ll understand how easy it is to make this sweet. And this sweet is, milk powder barfi. By using very few ingredients, this delicious barfi can be made at home. Very yummy to eat, I believe, if you try at home, Of course you’ll love it. First take a look at what ingredients we need to make milk powder barfi. 1/2 cup of milk powder is needed. 1/2 cup of condensed milk is needed. 2 to 3 table spoon of clarified butter or ghee. And for garnishing, here I’ve taken 4 to 5 pieces of chopped pistachios and 4 to 5 pieces of chopped almonds. Now, see how to make this Milk Powder Barfi. Here, I’ve taken a pot like this. Steel pot or tray or any type of pot can be used to set barfi in it. I’ve brush some clarified butter on it. It’ll helps barfi comes out easily from the pot. I’m taking a pan. Will take condensed milk in the pan. Now I’m adding milk powder with condensed milk. Now, I’m adding clarified butter. I’ll mix everything very well. Condensed milk itself is very sweet Since here I’ve used 1/2 cup of condensed milk, so i’ll not use any extra sugar here. Here I’ve mixed everything before putting on the oven. You have to mix everything well in cold conditions If you see the mixture is very thick, Then mix 2 to 3 tablespoon of milk in it. Now you have to put it on the stove, and cook with little less than medium heat, Cook while stir continuously until barfi consistency comes. Of course stove heat will be less than medium, and stir continuously with spoon like this. If not stir continuously the lower side could be burn, and then barfi will not tastes good. This way if cook approximately 15 to 20 minutes, then the mixture will comes to barfi setting consistency. When it comes to bafi setting consistency, you will see it will very easily comes out from the pan like this and will be quiet thick. Grease a plate with some clarified butter or oil, and take some mixture on it. Try to make round shape with finger like this. It it seems that it can be rounded quiet easily then the mixture comes to the barfi setting consistency. If you set barfi now, then your barfi will be quiet soft. And if want to make less soft barfi than that, cook while stir continuously for 5 to 10 minutes more and then set barfi. Personally i like the taste of soft barfi. For this reason, i’m setting the soft barfi on the pot. I’m spreading the mixture evenly with a spoon or a spatula. After spreading evenly, i’m spreading chopped almonds and pistachios. Here i’m using chopped almond and pistachio for garnishing. It gives the barfi a nice look and i like the taste also. But if you don’t like dry fruits, you can skip it. Gently press with spoon or spatula to set chopped nuts properly. Now i’m wrapping with a plastic wrapper. Instead of plastic wrapper, you can cover with a lid. Thus, i’ll keep it in normal part of fridge for 2 to 3 hours to set barfi. After 2 to 3 hours later, now i’ll cut barfis. Before cutting barfi, I’ve put the pot on stove for 5 to 10 seconds. This will help to remove barfi from pot easily. Now with help of spoon cut barfi with desired shape. This tasty barfi can be served for at least 1 week by keeping normal part of the fridge. Of course keep in fridge, as milk powder sweet will be damage quickly if keep outside. As it look so nice, believe me it is also as tasty as it looks.
