You’ve heard the saying, “You with your eyes
before you eat with your mouth.” Well, it’s a fact. Our desserts are beautiful,
but I find with a few simple touches, you can take them to the next level. Let’s start with our Caramel Apple Tartlets.
I like to serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a little bit of caramel sauce.
For garnish, I use 3 raspberries and a mint sprig. To dress up a cheesecake, I like to make a
simple raspberry purée. This is nothing but raspberries,
powdered sugar and a little bit of water. And just like the apple tartlet,
I garnished it with 3 raspberries and a mint sprig. With our Lithuanian Torte, I just like
to make a strawberry fan. All I do is slice up a ripe, red strawberry and fan it out. All these garnishes are simple, easy to do
and they really finish off the plates.
