Hey there! This is Lacey Baier with A Sweet
Pea Chef. The Dream Brand asked me to make a special recipe for you today, using their
delicious dairy-free line of Almond Dream Yogurt. So, today we are going to make a Dairy-Free
Pumpkin Frozen Yogurt with candied pecans. And to all my vegan, gluten free and clean
eating friends, this frozen yogurt is perfect for you too. So let’s get started. Here are
the ingredients you’re going to need. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Almond
Dream yogurt, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground cloves,
and vanilla extract. You can either use plain or vanilla Almond Dream yogurt for this recipe.
Vanilla is going to leave it a little bit sweeter than the plain. Now, pour the mixture
into an ice cream maker and let it run for about 30 minutes.
If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you
can just pour this mixture straight into a freezer safe container and then place into
the freezer. Then, every 30 minutes for about 4 hours remove it and stir it a little bit
and place it back into the freezer. Once the mixture has reached the consistency of a soft
serve ice cream, go ahead and transfer that to a freezer safe container and freeze for
about 3 hours to let it solidify. If you like soft serve style, though, its good to go,
but I like my frozen yogurt a little bit more frozen. While the yogurt is in the freezer, let’s
make some candied pecans for a topping. This is super easy. You just heat a pan over medium-heat,
add the chopped pecans, and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. Stir the pecans pretty constantly,
and you’ll start to see the maple syrup crystallize and coat the pecans in a sugary coating. This
should take about 5 minutes. To serve, top your delicious pumpkin frozen yogurt with
those candied pecans. Alright, so there you have it, thanks to the
Dream Brand for sponsoring this dairy free pumpkin yogurt video. This is delicious for
anyone but is especially perfect if you are looking for a dairy-free, vegan, gluten free,
or clean eating frozen yogurt. Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed the video, to
