Good morning Hawaii. Tropical Storm Guillermo has weakened it’s barely a tropical storm now. Winds are at 40 mph, motion to the west at 12 mph. High Surf Warning in effect today, dangerous east swell. Take extreme caution on east shores best to stay out of the water. Latest track continues to weaken it ,but it will make a close pass likely north of Kauai as a tropical depression. Radar showing passing showers windward and mauka seeing the heaviest. This is all enhanced trade showers out ahead of Guillermo. Tropical Storm Hilda has developed. Hilda has winds of 40 mph and will head west toward the islands. Latest track turns it more northerly as it approaches the islands. We’ll keep a close eye. We are off to a west start this morning here on Oahu. Temperatures right now are in the upper 70s.
